DODGEBALL 2010

The details are finalized, and it’s time to get your teams entered in the 2010 Pheasant Dodgeball Classic. What follows is a short recap of information you need to know in order to be a part of this year’s special event.

·        Our beneficiary of this year’s Classic is Dean Baier. Dean, a graduate of Redfield High School, was born with Pulmonary Stenosis. Beginning at the age of two months, Dean had the first of four heart surgeries. Now, at age 30, Dean is unable to work and waiting for his fifth heart surgery. We thank Dean for graciously allowing us to help him in this small way.

·        Monday, March 22 @ 6:00 pm in the Greeno Building is when this year’s Classic is set to start. Teams should plan on being there 15 minutes early.

·        Rules are the same as in other years:

-         Any number and combination of men or women per team, but only six players are allowed on the court during a game.

-         There are two divisions: Open and Jr. High

·        Entry fee is $30/ team, and as always 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our cause. The sooner you get your team entered the better.

·        Encourage others to enter teams, too. It would be great to see more business teams as well as teams from some new area schools….maybe Faulkton, Clark, Groton………talk to people you know in these schools.

·        To enter a team, or if you have other questions contact Kevin Hansen @ 605 472-4520 ext.1042 or email Kevin.hansen@k12.sd.us

Our dodgeball tournament has been a huge success in years past because of one reason……YOU and people like YOU who have chosen to be involved. It is our sincere hope that you will choose to be involved again this year and help to carry on the tradition of giving that has been the hallmark of this tournament. Get your teams entered, and be a part of something special!!!

See you Monday, March 22 , 2010
